"Beeline Bonus" program rules

"Beeline Bonus" is a bonus program that allows subscribers of prepaid and postpaid tariff plans of the mobile and convergent mobile bundles of "VEON Armenia" CJSC to accumulate bonus points and exchange them for a number of services offered by the Company.

1. Registration

1.1 The program is available both for prepaid and postpaid physical entities of “VEON Armenia” CJSC, using mobile and COMBO 2, 3 and 4 packages. The program is also available for the users of “My Company”, who are registered on the tariff plans available for physical entities (for exceptions, see clause 11.1).

1.2 Subscribers can register to the program in 3 ways

  • through the website beeline.am by registering to “Personal account”
  • through “My Beeline Armenia” application
  • through USSD menu by dialling the applicable *555# command

After completing the registration, the user will get a notification on successful enrolment. Registration to the program is free. In case the user is already registered in “Personal account” they just need to visit “Bonus” section.

2. Status granting in the “Beeline Bonus”

2.1 Once registered to the Program, the users will be given a membership status according to the monthly expenses for mobile and convergent services of “VEON Armenia” CJSC (computed cumulatively for the last six months).

Statuses to be assigned to the subscribers are the following:

  • Standard (>100/12 999 AMD)
  • Silver (13000/36 999 AMD)
  • Gold (37000/77 999 AMD)
  • Platinum (78 000 AMD)

2.2 Status of the subscribers will be reviewed once each 180 days based on the number of the accumulated points for that period. On the 181st day the system will check/review the current status of the user based on the total number of the accumulated points for the last 180 days (see table 1)

  • The status assigned to the Subscriber at the time of registration:
  • is preserved if in the next 180 days, the limit of the accumulated points corresponds to the company-approved limit.
  • upgrade or downgrade if the accumulated points for the last 180 days exceed or are less than the limits set for the status change.

Example:

  1. If the Subscriber has been granted Standard status at the time of registration, but within 180 days of the date of subscription s/he has accumulated points corresponding to Silver status (from 3000 to 8999 points), then on the 181 day, the subscriber status will be upgraded to Silver status.
  2. If the subscriber was granted Platinum status at the time of registration, but within 180 days of registration s/he does not accumulate sufficient points corresponding to Platinum status (total points accumulated within 180 days must be ≥17000), but accumulates less than 3000 points, then on the 181 day, the subscriber status will be downgraded to Standard status.

3. Status benefits

3.1 Depending on the obtained status, the subscriber will accumulate bonus points according to the below mentioned ratio.

Ratio set for each status is the following:

  • Standard status each: 10 amd = 1 point
  • Silver status each: 10 amd = 1,3 points
  • Gold status each: 10 amd = 1,5 points
  • Platinum status: each 10 amd =1,7 points

3.2 Subscribers, with Gold and Platinum status, can benefit from the special offers, which are not available for the users of Standard and Silver status (users of the Standard and Silver status can benefit from the offers once upgraded to Gold and Platinum statuses).

  • Specially dedicated number 8899 for calls to call center
  • 5% discount for Gold status users and 7% discount for the Platinum status users on device purchase from the Beeline shops (The purchase of the devices, in the frames of the special offer, can be only by direct sales).

4. Points accumulation

4.1 Subscribers of the “Beeline Bonus” program will accumulate points for each spent 10 amd.

4.2 Points are accumulated based on the coefficient of each status set by the Company (point 3.1)

4.3 No points will be accumulated for the amount spent on premium SMS and voice services (for example: for the services included in the Entertainment section of beeline.am website, "Where are you" service, for messages sent to the short number 1045 (car park), and for any voice and short message services provided by third parties).

4.4 No points will be accumulated for amounts transferred by the “Balance transfer” service.

4.5 For the prepaid Subscribers, points are accumulated daily. that is, for the day-to-day expenses for the  mobile services, except for the expenses specified in the points2 and 4.3. Aaccumulated points are transferred to the bonus account 24 hours after using the services. The subscriber is eligible to use the received points immediately. SMS notification on the accumulated points will be sent to user once a week, every Monday.

4.6 For the postpaid Subscribers, the points are accumulated monthly and are provided upon payment of the bill for the mobile services, except for the expenses specified in the points2 and 4.3. SMS notification on the accumulated points will be sent to the user once a month.

4.7 In case the postpaid subscriber makes the payment in advance the accumulated bonus points will be transferred only on the 2nd of the next month.

4.8 All the Subscribers, irrespective of their status, can also accumulate points by making one-time top up/payment within the specified amount limits. (See Table 2)

Example:

  1. In case of prepaid system: If the subscriber top ups the balance with 12000 AMD, s/he will accumulate one-time 100 points, after which s/he will accumulate corresponding points from the expense of each 10 AMD of the given amount.
  2. In case of postpaid system: If the subscriber pays 12 000 AMD s/he will accumulate one-time 100 bonus points, as well as s/he will accumulate corresponding points for payment for the services used during that month. That is, if the status of the subscriber is Standart, s/he will immediately accumulate 1200 points (10 AMD = 1 point) plus 100 bonus points for one-time payment.

Note:  Subscribers accumulate  bonus points by taking into account the coefficient corresponding to the subscriber's status (see paragraph 3.1) and excluding the cases specified in the points 4.2 and 4.3.

4.9 In some special cases Company can provide incentive points to subscribers participating in the Program

As a special case the following can be considered:

4.9.1 Registration to the Beeline Bonus

While registering to the Beeline Bonus users will get reward points depending on the source of registration and the obtained status.

4.9.2 Registration date to “Beeline Bonus”

On the day of registration to Beeline Bonus subscriber will be rewarded with 100 bonus points (each year as long as user in Beeline network and is in Beeline Bonus program).

4.9.3 Switch to TP specified by Company in frames of the Beeline Bonus program

In case of switch to the any prepaid/postpaid TP from the below mentioned list users will accumulate bonus points (tariff plan change should be to higher tariff plans both for prepaid and postpaid segment).

Note: Subscribers who have any current commitments (such as an annual subscription, bank guaranteed equipment, etc.) can benefit from the TP change to the above mentioned ones only after  completion of their commitment or after contract appropriate fulfillment

5. Points balance

Users of the program will have 2 bonus balances:

  • Total accumulated points balance for the status review
  • Current bonus points balance

5.1 Total accumulated points balance is a status review points balance, which is a sum of total points accumulated every 180 days from the date of registration in the Beeline Bonus Program. It is taken into account while reviewing users’ status. From the moment the user is given a new status (status upgrade/downgrade) or the current one is retained, the status review points are nullified and on the 181st day the system starts a new count from 0 for the next 180 days for the next status review. (For details on granting a status, see the point 2).

5.2 Current bonus points balance -  is the balance of accumulated/spent points since the day user enrolled in the Beeline Bonus Program. Subscriber can exchange those points to the available services, available in the frames of the program. The unused points of the current bonus points balance are transferred to the following month. The unused bonus points of the current balance which were not spent during the period of the 180 days do not burn and are transferred to the following month. The current bonus balance will not be added to the status review points, which occurs every 180 days.

Example:

Prepaid/postpaid subscriber has registered in the program on the 05/10/2019 and received Standard status. During the first 180 days the status revision points accumulated were 3100 points, from which the subscriber spent 1900 points and its current balance (as of 02/04/2020) remained 1200 points. On the 181st day (03/04/2020), the program reviews its status and transfers the subscriber to Silver status (see Table 1). From the moment of granting the status, the remaining 3100 points of the status review points are zeroed and a new calculation of the subscriber status review points starts from 0. The 1200 points of the subscriber's current balance are transferred to the next month, in this case the 7th month's current bonus points balance. The subscriber can continue to exchange those points with the services available in the program. And new accumulated bonus points will add to this balance.

6. Points exchange

Subscribers can exchange the accumulated points to the available services in the following 3 ways:

  • through the website beeline.am by visiting ”Bonus” section in “Personal account”
  • through “My Beeline Armenia” application in “Bonus” section
  • through USSD menu by dialling the applicable *555# command

6.1 Subscribers can exchange accumulated points with the services available in the frames of Beeline Bonus program, presented in Table 5.

6.2 Subscribers can exchange the accumulated point to “Nice Numbers”

7. Bonus Package Consumption

7.1 Service packages activated in the frames of the Beeline Bonus program have 15/30 days’ validity period (see Table 5).

7.2 Depending on the payment system, prepaid / postpaid bonus packages have the priority of consuming of the inclusions.

7.3 Prepaid subscribers have the following priority of the activated service consumption.

  • Bonuses received through "Special Offers" (AMD, MB, minutes), which usually have different validation periods depending on the offer.
  • Inclusions of services activated within the framework of “Beeline Bonus” program.
  • Inclusions of the current tariff plans (for example: Smart / Combo ТП inclusions, Remix inclusions, Giga, etc.).

Note: In case of Mega and Unlimited Internet services the inclusion of activated bonus internet packages will be consumed at the same time.

Example:

In case the Beeline Bonus subscriber is on Smart 2500 prepaid TP and exchanged the points for “200 MB” internet package for 15 (activated on18.11.2019 and the package is valid until 03.12.2019) and after s/he got special offer (for example: recharge your balance for X amd and get 100 MB for 5 days) and fulfilled the offer terms and activated it. In that case as 1st priority subscriber will consume the internet package activated by special offer, then the package activated by the points through “Beeline Bonus” and after the 500 MB package which is the Smart 2500 TP inclusion.

In case the Beeline Bonus subscriber is on the Smart 2500 prepaid TP and has exchanged bonus points for the 200 MB Internet package for 15 days (activated on 11/18/2019 and valid until 12/03/2019) and after that, s/he received a special offer ( for example: recharge the balance with X dram and get 100 MB for 5 days), user fulfilled the conditions of the offer, activated and received 100 MB as of 11/20/2019, which s/he can use until 10/11/2019, as part of his 2500 Smart package as of 11/18/2019 s/he has 500MB on the balance, then s/he will spend the volume of the Internet with the following sequence.

That is, on November 18, 2019 and November 19, 2019 the subscriber will spend the Internet from the volume of 200 MB of the Beeline Bonus package, then from November 20, 2019, he will start spending the volume of the Internet 100 MB received on a special offer, and after exhaustion s/he will start spending, the remaining volume from 200 MB of the Beeline Bonus package, and only after that will continue to spend the remaining 500 MB of his Smart 2500 package.

7.4 Postpaid subscribers have the following priority of the activated service consumption.

  • Inclusions of the subscriber’s tariff plan (or example Smart / Combo TP inclusions, Giga, etc.).
  • Inclusion of the services activated through “Beeline Bonus” program.

Example:

In case Beeline Bonus subscriber is on Smart 2500 postpaid TP and activated “200 MB” internet package for 15 days’ validity, s/he as a 1st priority will use the 500MB TP inclusion and only after 200 MB internet activated in frames of Beeline Bonus.

7.5  In order to benefit from the Nice Number offer and 5/7% discount on device purchase offer for Gold/Platinum users, subscriber should visit shop within 30 days from day of service activation in order to get the offer. Subscriber can get the offer from any Beeline shop. In case subscriber does not visit shop within 30 days after the service activation, s/he will lose the possibility to benefit from the offer and the exchanged bonus points will not be refunded.

7.6 In the Personal Account, in the “Detailed Bill” section, the subscriber can see the accumulated bonus points, the packages/services activated by the points, and the remaining of the services included in the packages.

8. Notifications

In the frames of the Beeline Bonus subscribers will get different notifications based on the activated services and according to the following program rules.

  • Registration
  • Points accumulation (postpaid/prepaid)
  • Service activation
  • Reward points accumulation
  • Tier upgrade/downgrade
  • Information on accumulated bonus points validation.

9. Points nullification

9.1 In case of no usage of the current bonus points, during the validity period, all the accumulated points will be zeroed on the 31st of December of the next year. The nullification of the accumulated points is performed on yearly basis both for prepaid and postpaid users. Before nullifying the accumulated points users will get warning notification sms 20 days in advance. In the personal account page user can see the accumulated points and its validity period. In case the user is subscribed to Beeline Bonus program for two or more years, theн s/he will have two validity periods for the accumulated points:

  • the previous year accumulated points
  • the current year accumulated points

Example:

Prepaid/postpaid user registered to Beeline Bonus program on 10th of October 2019  and starting from the registration date started to accumulate bonus points, but has not excahanged the accumulated points to the available services offered by Beeline Bonus program until 31.12.2020. On 10.12.2020 user will get warning notification sms on points validity period end and points nullification. In case subscriber does not exchange the accumulated points to the available services by the mentioned period all the points accumulated in 2019 will burn as of 31.12.2020 with no restoration possibility.

10. Deactivation

If desired subscriber can deactivate the “Beeline Bonus” program by dialing * 555 # and  following the appropriate instructions. In case the program is deactivated, subscriber will lose all the accumulated points with no restore possibility.

11. General terms

11.1 The program is not available for additional SIM cards of “COMBO”, “Regional 3500” and “Regional 5500” tariff plans, as well as for “Internet today”, “Drive”, “Infinity”, “Step” tariff plans, and all tariff plans provided for legal entities.

11.2 In case of TP change and the TP renaming after the registration to Beeline Bonus:

  • If subscriber changes his / her tariff plan to any tariff plan participating in Beeline Bonus (only tariff plans available to physicals entities) without changing the billing system, s/he maintains the same terms of usage (accumulated points/granted status, etc.) within the framework of the Beeline Bonus program. The activated packages and their remaining services will also be moved to the new TP.
  • If subscriber changes his/her tariff plan to any tariff plan participating in Beeline Bonus (only tariff plans available to physical entities) with the change of the billing system (switch to prepaid from postpaid or vice versa) s/he maintains the same term of usage (accumulated points/granted status, etc.) within the framework of the Beeline Bonus program. But the packages and the services activated for the previous tariff plan will be lost and no inclusion will be transferred to new tariff plan.

Note: In case of switching from postpaid to prepaid system, no points will be accumulated on the transition account. (That is, when a subscriber closes the remaining debt for postpaid services and switches to a prepaid system).

  • If subscriber changes his/her tariff plan to any of the non-participating tariff plans to Beeline Bonus program (tariff plans available for legal entities, "Drive", "Step", "Infinity", "Unlimited", "Basic", "Night", "Internet Today" tariff plans), regardless of the billing system, then its accumulated points are zeroed and Beeline Bonus account is deactivated.
  • In case of renaming of the number registered in Beeline Bonus program, points accumulated by the previous user of the number are zeroed and the account is deactivated. The new user of the number should register to the “Beeline Bonus” in order to benefit from the program.
  • The program is not available for the additional SIM cards of the COMBO service bundles.

11.3 "VEON Armenia" CJSC may, without prior notice, change the terms of the program by posting new terms and complete information about the project at www.beeline.am.
